What he did first was that he stated all the Universal Truths he believed in. Then he went further telling her that he loves her. Trying to prove the fact that him loving her is just like any other Universal Truth.
The Universal Truth is something you couldn’t deny. Something which is always true. Something which is accepted Universally and does not even change over time. The fact which is believed without a doubt.
Eg. The sun rises in the east & sets in the west , the fact that humans are mortal.
He just wanted to make sure that she knows that him loving her is an Universal Truth something which no one can deny , something which is always true.

Different people can have different interpretations of this dialogue said by Augustus Waters. But we all know one thing which he was trying portray is that he loves her deeply even from the beyond.
He knew that she demanded to loved deeply & not widely which he made sure he did.
The moment Hazel received her eulogy even after his death Augustus proved his love from the beyond , not failing to make sure that she’s loved & that she’d be remembered.
